Toasts with fresh figs, goat cheese, and pomegranate molasses Recipe

Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 10 minutes | Active Time: | Makes: Depends on size of baguette

I bought my first bottle of pomegranate molasses after hearing about how wonderful it was. I was about to have a dinner party, and I happen to have a fig tree. This idea came to me and while I usually don’t try out new recipes at a party I did this time. It was better than expected, my guests commented that it tasted like dessert! I’m going to make a tart today using figs and pomegranate molasses and see how that turns out.

  • Baguette, plain
  • Fresh figs, sliced. 1/2 per appetizer desired.
  • soft goat cheese
  • pomegranate molasses
  1. Cut slices of baguette.
  2. Toast slices in toaster oven, alternatively, bake in 350 degree oven to dry out, flipping over once if baking on cookie sheet.
  3. Spread with goat cheese.
  4. Arrange fig slices on goat cheese.
  5. Drizzle with pomegranate molasses.
