I bought my first bottle of pomegranate molasses after hearing about how wonderful it was. I was about to have a dinner party, and I happen to have a fig tree. This idea came to me and while I usually don’t try out new recipes at a party I did this time. It was better than expected, my guests commented that it tasted like dessert! I’m going to make a tart today using figs and pomegranate molasses and see how that turns out.

Instructions

  1. 1Cut slices of baguette.
  2. 2Toast slices in toaster oven, alternatively, bake in 350 degree oven to dry out, flipping over once if baking on cookie sheet.
  3. 3Spread with goat cheese.
  4. 4Arrange fig slices on goat cheese.
  5. 5Drizzle with pomegranate molasses.
