Sangria Texas Style Recipe

Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: up to 24 hours | Active Time: | Makes: 2 gallons

I titled this drink “Texas Style” only because a few of the ingredients may only be found in Texas and California. It is really refreshing at a BBQ while you are waiting for the sun to creep away and the shadows to make it to the patio.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 gal Carlo and Rossi Burgundy
  • 2 cups cheap French Brandy
  • 3 Litres HEB Brand Grapefruit Soda
  • 1 can frozen orange concentrate
  • 1 can frozen limeade concentrate
  • 1-12 oz can Jumex brand Mango juice (found in any Mexican section of a Texas grocery store.)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix all the ingredients, chill, and serve. If you like a less fruity and more dry Sangria then use only 3/4’s of the grapefruit, orange, limeade and Mango. I prefer to let it chill for 24 hours. But it is good the day it is prepared also.

I make it the 3/4 method just because of my personal tastes.
