Sangria Texas Style Recipe
I titled this drink “Texas Style” only because a few of the ingredients may only be found in Texas and California. It is really refreshing at a BBQ while you are waiting for the sun to creep away and the shadows to make it to the patio.
- 1 gal Carlo and Rossi Burgundy
- 2 cups cheap French Brandy
- 3 Litres HEB Brand Grapefruit Soda
- 1 can frozen orange concentrate
- 1 can frozen limeade concentrate
- 1-12 oz can Jumex brand Mango juice (found in any Mexican section of a Texas grocery store.)
- Mix all the ingredients, chill, and serve. If you like a less fruity and more dry Sangria then use only 3/4’s of the grapefruit, orange, limeade and Mango. I prefer to let it chill for 24 hours. But it is good the day it is prepared also.
I make it the 3/4 method just because of my personal tastes.
