  • I've been vegan over half MY natural life, and though I don't drink alcohol or smoke, I drink coffee and tea.

But I'm abstemious and avoid the liquor, so there... for anyone who is asking.

  • Many of the vegans I know, including myself, drink alcohol. Just cause your health conscious doesn't mean a cocktail once in a while isn't in order, its all about moderation. I think this looks good.

  • I actually know more non-health-conscious vegans than health-conscious vegans. And being lactose intolerant, I'm looking forward to this too! This sounds perfect for our next picnic!

  • Sounds great. Never mind vegans, those of us who simply can't tolerate dairy are always on the hunt for good dairy-free smoothies and shake recipes.

  • I don't drink, but I think others in my family might appreciate it without making fun of it being vegan.

  • I'm a health-concious vegan, and I am ready to go out and buy lemon sorbet (and maybe some limoncello) to go with the amaretto in my liquor cabinet. This sounds amazing.

  • It sounds delicious, whether vegans would drink it or not.

  • Not to sound snide, but do health-conscious vegans *really* drink amaretto?

If vegans indeed imbibe (none of my vegan friends really do) -- why not add a shot of Limoncello to this recipe for an extra zzzzing!
