Gizzard Caserole Recipe

Quick and easy one pot meal. For gizzard lovers.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 lbs gizzards
- one lb macaroni
- 2 - 3 cups frozen peas and pearl onions
- 1/2 cup green pepper
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, cheddar, Colby,
- 4 cloves garlic and garlic powder
- 1 /2 tsp salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- cut gizzards in half by removing connect section between the large muscle parts.
dice gizzards
boil diced gizzards - boil macaroni
- place peas in microwave and thaw
- finely dice green pepper
- mix gizzards, macaroni, green peppers, cheese in a large bowl with milk
and pour into baking pan of suitable size (9 1/2 × 10)
place in a preheated 350 degree oven
place more cheese on top
bake approximately 20-30 minutes until cheese browns.
let cool and serve with a salad and (if you wish) grape Kool-Aid.
