A great reminder of summer days to come. It’s sweet, rich, and a little tart. The key is to keep the butterscotch schnapps in check. Too much and the drink quickly becomes sickly sweet. To little, and you won’t even know it’s there.
INGREDIENTS
- sugar for rimming glasses (optional)
- 4 oz vodka
- 2 oz lemon juice
- 2 oz limoncello
- 2 dashes vanilla extract
- 1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps
- 2 thin slices of lemon, or 2 twists of lemon peel (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use sugar to rim two glasses. Set aside.
- Add remaining ingredients, except for lemon peel or slices (if using) to a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice and shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Strain into reserved glasses.
