A spin on the Manhattan, concocted in a 9th Street Sake Bar.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 oz Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz Canton's Ginger Liqueur
- Bitters
- Decent quality dry to very-dry sake
- Ice
- Lime wedge
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place Rye & Canton’s into shaker with one or two ice cubes
- Shake until your hands are cold
- Strain into Old Fashioned glass filled with ice
- Fill remainder of glass with sake and top with two to three dashes bitters. Give a quick stir. Garnish with lime wedge.
- Drink very slow. It’s potent.
