Tamarindo Borracho Recipe
Sometimes a shot of tequila needs more than a lime wedge and some salt to spiff it up; mix in a little spicy syrup when you want an extra kick.

- 1 1/2 ounces añejo tequila
- 1 ounce Tamarind-Chile Syrup
- Ice
- 1 lime wedge
I have liquid tamarind concentrate in my cupboard and would really like to use it instead of having to buy tamarind paste. How can I make the syrup using it instead and keep the concentration of the flavor similar?
