Garnished Za'atar Recipe

By Soufi
Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 5 min | Makes: 1

I wanted to share this little combination I put together recently, it became almost my daily lunch!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 za'atar flavored (thyme and sesame) flat bread
  • labneh (strained yogurt)
  • sundried tomatoes in olive oil, chopped
  • halved or quartered cherry tomatoes
  • arugula
  • maybe some finely chopped red onions or green onions
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Since I keep my za’atar flat bread in the freezer, I just pop one in the oven. Not too long because I don’t want it to be crisp.
  2. Lather one half of the bread with labneh, then sprinkle some tomatoes, sundried and cherry, and some onions if you want. Then add a big handful of arugula. If it seems a bit dry, drizzle a bit of dried tomatoes oil. Add freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Fold over along the labneh line, slice across. Enjoy!
