Cooper Brothers Cocktail Recipe

Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 3 minutes | Makes: 1 drink

I got this drink out of an article that cocktail writer Eric Felten did for the Wall Street Journal. The story was about the St. Germain Elderflower liqueur and the Canton Ginger liqeur, both amazing products. I love bourbon and both these liequers. This made one fabulous drink. Can’t recommend it enough. This may replace my Manhattan for the rest of the winter.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1½ oz bourbon
  • ½ oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
  • ¼ oz Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Stir, stir, stir with ice and then strain into a stemmed cocktail glass. Twist a piece of orange peel over the top of the drink.
  1. Garnish with a fresh orange twist.
  2. If you have not tried these two liqueurs, you gotta seek them out. You might even find them in 50ml sample bottles. Try them. You’ll go back and buy the 750ml afterwards.
