SAUSAGE STUFFING Recipe

Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 1 1/2 HRS. | Makes: 2 QUARTS - APPROXIMATELY 10 - 12 SERVINGS

This recipe has been in my mother’s family for many years.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 LB. FRESH SAUSAGE
  • 1 LB COLD MASHED POTATOES
  • 1 MEDIUM ONION, GRATED
  • 1 WHOLE NUTMEG, GRATED
  • 1 WELL BEATEN EGG
  • 6 SLICES BREAD, GRATED
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. MIX SAUSAGE AND MASHED POTATOES WELL
  2. ADD GRATED ONION AND MIX
  3. ADD BEATEN EGG AND MIX
  4. ADD GRATED NUTMEG AND MIX
  5. ADD GRATED BREAD AND MIX WELL
  6. PLACE IN 2 QUART BAKING DISH
  7. BAKE IN 350 DEGREE OVEN FOR 1 HOUR.
