I just made a loaf of this bread and because it was the only option in our local stores, I used Bob's Red Mill almond flour. It is great. It is darker than the picture and slices without crumbling. Next time I will add flavoring like orange or lemon zest or almond extract to enhance the flavor. Will definitely bake it again.

  • approximate carbs, fiber, protein, and fat?

  • I buy my almond flour online here:

I haven't made this particular recipe yet, but I've used the almond flour and flax meal to make some really good pancakes that are low carb and gluten free

  • If not Bob's, then what brand do you recommend? Please don't leave us hanging!

  • Not sure if I missed something when I made this bread. First of all it looks nothing like the picture. It is very dry and the texture is not like bread at all. I was so excited, not only was it gluten free but it was easy. I don't think I will be making this again!

  • OMG! Could this be the recipe I've been looking for? Please tell me what calories this bread has per slice. I plan to use "Egg Beaters" or one or the egg white products for the 3 eggs ingredient.

If the calorie count is also low, this bread would be the best bread on the planet!
