1 stick butter equals what? Our butter comes in 1 lb. chunks or in 4 1/4 pound sticks. .So one stick is 1/4 pound? Please clarify by providing either measurement or weight. thanks
The cherry pie filling & canned cranberrry sauce cuts down on the amount of sugar you would need. When I make it with frozen rasberries I need to use a lot more sugar. The port sounds interesting but the burgundy is cheeper. I usually make this in large quantities for gifts and I need to cut down on cost. But all fresh cranberries works great too. Thanks for the tip.
cherry pie filling and canned cranberry sauce?? if you're making it from scratch, why would you add these........keep it simple. I recommend port instead of the burgundy.
Thank you guys for the help to get it typed out correctly, I really do appreciate it. I think I've got it straight now, just don't have the swing of typing the recipie in without spell check. But I promise, it tastes better than I can type it!
Also, is it two separate additions of a 3/4 stick of butter or is that another typo?
If there is burgundy wine and orange (juice, peel?) to be added you should add that to the list of ingredients.
Just FYI: Burgundy has no A - Cognac has a G
Just 1 1lb. bag of fresh cranberries
I that two 1 lb. bags of fresh cranberries? HUH?
