Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: | Active Time: | Makes: 1 drink

Sip a bit of fall any time of year with this apple- and maple-flavored brandy drink.

What to buy: We like Sortilège maple liqueur for its smooth and not-too-sweet blending of Canadian whisky and maple syrup.

This recipe was featured as part of our Thanksgiving for Six menu.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 ounces maple liqueur
  • 1 ounce apple brandy, such as Calvados
  • 1/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice
  • 1 ounce sparkling apple cider
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Combine liqueur, brandy, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.
  2. Pour everything, including the ice, into an 8-ounce rocks glass, top with sparkling cider, and gently stir to combine.

  • mhm. i live in vancouver bc. and one of my favourite drinks is a maple and whiskey cocktail called jack's canada. i discovered it at revel room.

equal parts lime juice and whiskey. plus maple syrup to taste (start with just a little.) combine with ice in a cocktail shaker. serve neat or on the rocks depending on preference. revel room serves it on ice in a rocks glass.

  • I love a good brandy drink but I like to spice up my drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) with sparkling juices like Kristian Regále. They have great apple sparkling juices Its refreshing and delicious! Its a great mixer in cocktails such as the one above
