  • In a bowl, cream the anchovies and 4 tablespoons butter until light and fluffy. Spread on toast. Dot tomatoes with remaining butter and sprinkle with the basil or parsley. Broil 5 minutes.

  • Anchovy butter and eggs can be prepared the night before.
