Chocolate Chip Cookie Delite Recipe
Got this recipe after given a piece, and it was so good, I asked for the recipe.
My husband not liking instant pudding said he wouldn’t like it. Wrong, he loved it.
It’s a dessert you just can’t get enough of and you can experiment with different cookie dough & puddings.
- 1 tube of (16-1/2 oz) refrigerated cookie chip dough
- 1 pkg (8 oz) softened cream cheese
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1 (12 oz) Cool Whip thawed
- 3 cups COLD milk
- 1 (3.9 oz pkg) chocolate INSTANT pudding
- 1 (3.4 oz pkg) vanilla INSTANT pudding
- chopped nut, mini chocolate chips, chocolate curls or whatever
- Let cookie dough stand at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften. Then press down into an ungreased 13″ × 9″ baking pan
Bake at 350 for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack BE SURE IT IS COLD BEFORE NEXT STEPS - In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese & confectioner’s sugar until smooth, Fold in 1-3/4 cups Cool Whip and spread over COLD Crust
- In large mixing bowl, whisk milk with both puddings together for 2 minutes for until soft set. Spread over cream cheese layer
- Top with balance of Cool Whip
- Sprinkle with nuts, chips or your liking for top
- Be creative, change the refrigerated dough and then change pudding to go with dough
- Cover and refrigerate over night

My mom used to make this when I was a kid. I'm so excited for the recipe as I had totally forgotten about it! You have to refigerate it overnight or it won't cut to get it out of the pan - too soft.
Is it necessary to refrigerate it overnight before you eat it? What's the consistency like right after you make it vs. overnight refrigeration?
