Pudding Frosted Cake Recipe
This recipe is so easy, a fifth grader could do it. I should know. I was the fifth grader who invented it when I baked a cake to only discover that I didn’t have frosting or powdered sugar to make frosting.
- your favorite yellow cake
- one box of instant chocolate pudding
- one box of instant vanilla pudding
- enough ice cold milk to put together each box of pudding
- Buy or make your yellow cake
- Follow the directions on the side of the box to make the two batches of instant pudding.
- While the instant pudding chills in the fridge, slice horizontally through the yellow cake.
- Slather on the vanilla pudding on top of the bottom slice of cake.
- Place the top slice on top of the pudding.
- Cover the entire cake with chocolate pudding and chill in the fridge until ready to serve —at least an hour.
