Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 10 minutes | Active Time: | Makes: 6

I created this recipe as an easy, grown up. alternative to the traditional banana split. The combination of mocha java ice cream, bananas and the chopped chocolate espresso beans is delicious. For an added twist, drizzle a little Baileys Irish Cream over the top of the ice cream before adding the fudge sauce.

INGREDIENTS
  • 6 bananas ( at "ready to eat" ripeness)
  • 1 quart Starbucks Mocha Java Ice Cream
  • 1 jar of your favorite fudge topping
  • Canned whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped chocolate espresso beans
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Peel and slice each banana lengthwise into two pieces immediately before assembling

Place 2 banana halves, open or sliced side up in a banana split bowl or split plate

  1. Top bananas with 3 scoops of mocha java ice cream
  2. Drizzle with the fudge topping

Top with whipping cream

  1. Sprinkle with crushed chocolate espresso beans

Serve immediately and most of all, enjoy!
