  • This is a recipe i got from a Racheal Ray mag. It's wonderful, i season the chicken lightly with salt and pepper, and i cook the breasts in a grill pan or on a charcoal grill. the bacon get nice and crispy. Very good quick dinner.

  • you can season it def, you just don't want to many flavors at one time....

  • Lene--I think that I agree with you. A light seasoning might help the chicken.

  • 1. don't cook the bacon all the way not crispy... Just make sure it's a little cooked.
2.You want the bacon on the outside of the chicken.

You don't need to season the chicken if you use flavored cream cheese

  • My guess is, uncooked- but you are correct, there would be no bacon side up. There could be, ends on top, perhaps.
(I also think, you might want to season the chicken slightly, depending on what bacon is used).

  • Two questions:

    1) How well cooked is the bacon before you start? It is going to bake another 45 minutes, no?

    2) I picture "wrapped" chicken as having the bacon spiral-wrapped around and around - in which case, there is no "bacon side up." Please clarify.
