I have taken ideas from 4 different restaurants that I have worked in. One was Greek, one Italian, one American Cuisine, and one Asian Cuisine. I have blended all of these various cuisines to create a fabulous Rib recipe. I hope the mdoerators don’t mind, but please check my website for other great recipes, and more detailed instructions on this recipe. http://www.tixxie.com
- 1In a LARGE pot fill 3/4 with water, add a full onion, cut into four. Throw in a few Bay Leaves, a few bulbs of garlic and any other seasoning or herbs you care for. I use fresh oregano. Add the ribs and boil for 1-4 hours (4 is better).
- 2In a large mixing bowl, pour 1/4 cup of Oyster Sauce. Add 2 tbl. melted butter, and 1/4 cup Szchewan Sauce .Mix all of the ingredients together.
- 3Toss all of the ribs into the mixture, coating each rib well. Place the ribs onto the BBQ and heat them for only about 5 minutes. You can also put the ribs into a hot oven (450 degrees), but a BBQ works better.
- 4In the same mixing bowl you used earlier (hopefully there is a little ‘juice’ leftover in it) add the ribs. Sprinkle with dried Oregano flakes and toss the ribs. To finish, squeeze a whole fresh lemon onto the ribs as you toss them in the bowl.
