to KatherineQ: I just found the page that had your request for a company that sells gluten free cookies...I would HIGHLY recommend Liz Lovely cookies. You can find them at www.lizlovely.com, and in organic food stores. There's a listing on the site of retailers that carry them, or you can order online. They run specials (latest has been 14% anniversary discount). The cookies are vegan (also good for anyone with dairy sensitivity), and she has a line of traditional as well as gluten-free. I can't have cow dairy or gluten, so they're perfect...and they are YUMMY!-COLLAPSE
Has anyone tried the gluten free recipes? What did you think?
Also does anyone know of an online cookie company that sells gluten free cookies. My niece's birthday is coming up and she loves cookies but can't have gluten. Any suggestions?
According to the creator of this recipe, Bob's Red Mill brand Almond Flour does NOT work, and yields results just like you describe. Look for other brands of BLANCHED almond flour or almond meal for better results.
I'm sorry, but these cookies were hideous. The batter was runny making it impossible to form the 1/2 balls. Then when they were cooked, they were thin and tasted terrible. They were way too grainy.
