Winnipeg Sangria Recipe

By bluedog
Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 2 Minutes | Makes: 1 Serving

I made this up on a trip to Winnipeg a few years ago where I was staying with a relative who had a pool and a ;lot of cheap wine. Despite some searching on the internet, I’ve never seen another version of “sangria” quite like this. Easy way to make a drink with cheap wine for a hot summer afternoon. Works equally well with red or white wine.

INGREDIENTS
  • Wine (red or white as you like)
  • Orange Juice
  • Ginger Ale
  • Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Half fill a large glass with ice (preferably not cubes). Half fill with wine. Top up with OJ and ginger ale in about a 50/50 ratio. Stir gently and enjoy.
