CHOCOLATE BARK COOKIES Recipe
Two of my favorite things to make are candies and cookies.When I bake chocolate chip cookies,I add the crumbs of the bark I’ve made.So I made up this recipe making bark and chocolate chip cookies .I call it Marble bark cookies.
- 6 oz milk chocolate 6 oz white chocolate 1 c toasted pecans,chopped 21/4 C all-purpose flour 1 t.baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 c butter,softened 1/2 c margarine,softened or 1/2 c shortening 3/4 c brown sugar,packed 3/3 c granulated sugar 1 t.vanilla 2 eggs

- 1 C TOASTED PECANS
- SPREAD PECANS ON A FOIL LINED COUNTER
MELT CHOCOLATES IN SEPERATE CONTAINERS IN MICROWAVE OR IN A DOUBLE BOILER.
POUR MELTED CHOCOLATES OVER NUTS.LET STAND WHILE MAKING COOKIES - PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES.
CREAM BUTTER AND MARGARINE UNTIL WELL COMBINED,ADD BOTH SUGARS,EGGS AND VANILLA.
COMBINE DRY INGREDIENTS.ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE AND MIX WELL - BREAK CHOCOLATE COVERED PECANS IN SMALL PIECES.STIR INTO COOKIE DOUGH.DROP BY TABLESPOONS ONTO UNGREASED COOKIE SHEETS 2 INCHES APART.BAKE 9-11 MINS.
COOL ON COOKIE SHEETS 2-3 MINS. THEN COOL ON RACKS
