Philip Ward of Death & Co makes this specialty vermouth to add an edge to cocktails like his Jersey Lightning punch.
What to buy: Carpano Antica vermouth is a slightly bitter vermouth that can be found at specialty liquor stores.
Harvest Moon Tea is a black tea with cinnamon and apple notes. If you can’t find it, you can use any other good-quality black tea with similar flavors.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 teaspoons Harvest Moon Tea
- 1 (750-milliliter) bottle Carpano Antica vermouth
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place tea in the bottle of vermouth, close, and shake to combine. Set aside for 1 1/2 hours to infuse. Strain out tea and use vermouth as you would normally.
I would suggest using 3/4 of the 1 liter bottle. That's 750 mL. Bonnie 8a
I have only seen Carpano Antica in 1 L bottles. Should I only use 750 mL or the whole bottle?
