Easy Fish Tacos Recipe

By HPYCMPR
Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 17 (to cook fish filets) | Active Time: | Makes: serves 3 (two tacos each)

Hungry after a long day and need to feed the troops fast? These quick, easy fish tacos are a favorite at our house, and may become a favorite at yours too.

INGREDIENTS
  • 6 frozen fish filets (we like Gorton's Lemon Pepper Herb)
  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage (or lettuce, or baby spinach, whatever is on hand)
  • ranch dressing
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Cook fish filets in oven according to package directions.
  2. Microwave tortillas until warm and pliable, about 8 seconds
  3. Place a cooked filet in the center of a tortilla. Drizzle with ranch dressing. Sprinkle cabbage (or lettuce, or spinach) over all. Roll up and enjoy.

  • I went online looking for a good fish taco recipe because I had some cod to use up and this is all I found on CHOW? Very disappointed ...

  • how does this qualify as a recipe?

  • ... and leave gorton's in the market... not much harder to buy fresh fish and sprinkle on some salt, pepper and lemon zest

  • No offense, but perhaps hpycmpr doesn't care for salsa OR corn tortillas, add salsa and corn tortillas to your own recipe if you desire.

  • I know fish fillets make this 'emergency' food, but PLEASE use corn tortillas and add some decent salsa to the ingredient list.
    Ranch dressing, hmmm.......
