Meat & Noodles Recipe

Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 15 minutes | Active Time: | Makes: 4-6 servings

My mom made this for me all the time growing up. She is a horrible cook, and her meals always included noodles. I eat much healthier now (partly because I CAN cook) but every so often I’ll make this dish. It’s super easy, includes very few ingredients (most of which you should already have at home), and tastes freaking delicious.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 package of ground meat (beef or turkey)
  • 1 package of rotini (spiral noodles) or penne
  • garlic salt to taste
  • ketchup to taste
  • 1-3 tablespoons of olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Boil pasta. When ready, drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, drop a tablespoon or two of olive oil into a hot pan. Place the ground meat in the pan and cook. Season with garlic salt. While browning, mix and break up any large pieces of meat.
  3. When pasta is ready and meat is well seasoned and cooked, toss pasta in with meat and allow all to cook and brown. Season with a bit more garlic salt if needed.
  4. Once incorporated, spoon meat and noodle mix into a bowl. Squirt some ketchup all over the pasta and mix completely to coat.
  5. Eat and enjoy.

  • What is COOKING? Dumping green beans, cream of mushroom soup, some milk and canned, fried onions in a dish?
Isn't that Cooking? Cos I bet most people would call that a casserole,..which you COOK, in an oven.
Not trying to be a grinch, but seriously. This is cooking as much as a giant inflatable dog turd is ART.

  • I'm sorry, but this isn't COOKING. Boiling water, browning meat, and worst of all: KETCHUP?
