Tonno e Fagioli Recipe
This is the perfect summer dish. Very easy preparation, very light meal. I like to make this in the dead of a snow storm and pretend it’s July in Tuscany.
- Italian tuna packed in oil (3.25 oz Can)
- 1 cup of white beans (rinsed from can)
- a few red onion slices very thin
- olive oil (for drizzling)
- sea salt
- pepper
- Open can of white beans rinse and plate.
- open can of tuna plate on top of white beans.
- slice a few slices of red onion as thin as you can and place on top of beans and tuna.
- drizzle olive oil on top.
- crack some black pepper and sprinkle sea salt on top.
