Tonno e Fagioli Recipe

This is the perfect summer dish. Very easy preparation, very light meal. I like to make this in the dead of a snow storm and pretend it’s July in Tuscany.

INGREDIENTS
  • Italian tuna packed in oil (3.25 oz Can)
  • 1 cup of white beans (rinsed from can)
  • a few red onion slices very thin
  • olive oil (for drizzling)
  • sea salt
  • pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Open can of white beans rinse and plate.
  2. open can of tuna plate on top of white beans.
  3. slice a few slices of red onion as thin as you can and place on top of beans and tuna.
  4. drizzle olive oil on top.
  5. crack some black pepper and sprinkle sea salt on top.
