Simple Pita Bread Recipe

Delicious Pita bread is best made at high temperatures. This recipe has been passed around my family and friends to the point that we all have it memorized and it has become a staple of parties.

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Instant Yeast (one packet)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix everything together
  2. Let rise for three hours
  3. Cut and roll into flat pieces of bread. They can be large or small and keep their shape.
  4. Bake at 500 degrees for 5 minutes.
