i drink my milkshake. i drink it up. Recipe
We had unusually warm weather this weekend and as a result came back from Safeway with a large box of ice cream sandwiches. It became obvious after consuming a few that they could be better utilized.
*This recipe is based on Lucerne ice cream sandwiches (3.65 oz/each).
- 12 ice cream sandwiches
- 1 cup milk
- Allow 10 sandwiches to sit at room temp for 6 minutes.
- Coat bottom of blender with 1/3 C milk. Gently mash up 4 sandwiches and drop in.
- Blend.
- Repeat steps 2 & 3 two times (1/3 C milk and 3 sandwiches each time).
- Optional: use remaining 2 sandwiches to dip into milkshake.

I'm pretty sure that my husband would cream his jeans if I made this milkshake for him...thanks for the great idea!
I don't know why I never thought of this. This might be the most amazing thing I've read all week.
This is perfect "Wife away from home, gonna eat crap" food.
