Sweet and Sour Meatballs Recipe

Total Time: About 45 minutes | Active Time: | Makes: about 60 meatballs

This is an appetizer served hot with toothpicks. Easy and fabulously delicious. Frozen Italian meatballs from Costco. Guests always love them and ask for them again @ next party. Can substitute chicken wings instead of meatballs. Plan on about 3 meatballs per guest depending on what else you are serving as appetizers.

INGREDIENTS
  • About 60 small meatballs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. orange marmalade
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Brown floured meatballs in oil. Dry on paper towels.
  2. Oven: Place in baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over browned meatballs. Cover and bake @ 350 for about 20 minutes or bubbly, mixing occasionally for good coverage. Serve hot with toothpicks.
Slow cooker: Prepare same way as above. Cook on high covered until bubbly and hot. Reduce heat
  3. Chicken wings can be prepared and cooked in the same way.
    Bon apetite

  • Sounds deliscious.

  • Do you roll the meatballs in four before you fry them in the oil?
