Combine this floral syrup with strawberries in the spring, nectarines in the summer, or kiwis in the winter for an instant dessert upgrade.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise and scraped, seeds reserved
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place water, honey, sugar, and vanilla seeds in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and stir occasionally until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat to low and continue to simmer until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Remove syrup from heat and let cool completely. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Drizzle on greek yogurt-oh so good!
i think this would be great
not so much on fruit that is in season at its best when fruit is at its best it is so good you want nothing to mask it
but... for fruit that is maybe off season or second rate if you will this sounds like the answer
