  • If you are doing this one in a metal pan, try lining the pan with foil with a 2 inch overhang for handles. They should come right out whole after chilling and you can cut them on the foil. This recipe is similar to one I found in Elinor Klivens Bake and Freeze cookbook, and the foil overhang thing was in her directions.

  • I tend to cut them small, 16 out of each pan, they are really rich.

  • how many brownies/squares do you typically get out of each pan? 16? 24?

  • oh and a tip from my girlfriend, toast the walnuts before you put them in for extra flavor.

  • Misprint. Should be right now.

  • The extra 3 sticks of butter at the bottom of a recipe, I am hoping and assuming is a misprint or a repeat of the first ingredient?
