Hearty Party Cheese Dip Recipe

Total Time: About an hour | Active Time: | Makes: about 3 1/2-4 qts.

This is a dip I fix for parties where alcohol is served because it is heavy.

INGREDIENTS
  • Crockpot it is easier, cheese doesn't stick
  • 1lb. sausage browned (I use hot)
  • 1lb. hamburger browned
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 sm can mushrooms
  • 2lb. Block Velveeta cheese cut into small chuncks
  • 1lb chedder cheese
  • 1 cup of milk
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Brown meat seperatly.
  2. Combine cheeses, soup, mushroom, and milk in crockpot to begin melting.
  3. Once meat is browned combing with the cheese mixture.
  4. Put crockpot on high and stir constantly until cheeses are melted and everything is combined.
  5. Once combined cut down to low and DIG IN! :)

  • Velveeta??? Sorry but I like real cheese. I do think, though, that Velveeta makes a great fish bait!

  • This is an oldie but a goodie - my friend makes this all the time, and calls it 'Hanky Pankly' for some reason. It's always gone by the end of the night.
