Chicken Satay Omelette Recipe

By crt
Total Time: About 30 minutes | Makes: 1 Per 3 egg omelette

Actually I came up with the idea for this after having the ‘Firecracker Omelette’ from Norm’s limited time ‘Asian Occasion’ menu. Which by the way can be made at home as well. So I thought I’d make up my own ‘Asian Occasion’ omelette, my ’Chicken Satay Omelette. In keeping the an Asain flare I recommend serviing with a helping of that wonderfully aromatic Jasmine rice. Of course you can sub for other product brands used here or prepare your own chicken and satay sauce if preferred.

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 Eggs per each omelette
  • Tyson's Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breasts (amounts to suit)
  • Por Kwan Satay Sauce (amount to suit)
  • Thinly sliced scallions, garnish (amounts to suit)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Dice the already diced chicken into smaller pieces as to avoid tearing the omelette when folding…also dice your scallions and set both aside for adding to nearly finished omelette. Heat satay sauce for easy pouring.
  2. Prepare omelette and add diced chicken before folding.
  3. Fold and plate your omelette. Drizzle over top of omelette prefered amount of the heated satay sauce and garnish with sliced scallions.
