Apple Crisp Recipe
This recipe is easy to make, easy to remember, foolproof, and always delicious. Serve it with vanilla ice cream, warm. You can also get it ready to bake ahead of time and then put it in the oven when dinner starts.
You can also mix up the fruits- it’s great with berries, peaches, pears as well.
- 8-10 apples
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
- Peel apples and cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place in medium baking dish.
- Mix flour, sugar and butter together with your hands until it resembles a course meal. Sprinkle over apples in pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes, until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
