Cinnamon Syrup Recipe
A simple syrup with a mild cinnamon flavor for sweetening cocktails.
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- Place all of the ingredients in a small saucepan, stir to combine, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the syrup and cinnamon sticks to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
