Cinnamon Syrup Recipe

Cinnamon Syrup

A simple syrup with a mild cinnamon flavor for sweetening cocktails.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  1. Place all of the ingredients in a small saucepan, stir to combine, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature.
  2. Transfer the syrup and cinnamon sticks to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
