Vanilla Salt Recipe

This flavored salt is an essential garnish in our Scallops Crudo with Vanilla Salt, but it could work as a creative garnish on a variety of savory or sweet dishes. To see what we mean, try it in a champagne vinaigrette or atop some chocolate mousse.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise and scraped, seeds reserved
INSTRUCTIONS
Place the salt and vanilla seeds in a small bowl and rub them between your fingers until they’re uniformly combined. Store in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to use.
