This flavored salt is an essential garnish in our Scallops Crudo with Vanilla Salt, but it could work as a creative garnish on a variety of savory or sweet dishes. To see what we mean, try it in a champagne vinaigrette or atop some chocolate mousse.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup kosher salt
- 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise and scraped, seeds reserved
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine salt and vanilla bean seeds in a bowl and mix until combined. Store at room temperature in a sealed container until ready to use.
