For many, being a teenager in the ’80s meant hanging at the mall and consuming as many cups of Orange Julius as possible. As a nod to this frothy, orangey drink, which remains one of the best takes on a smoothie ever, we created the Orange CHOW-lius, a fancier homemade version of the original.

Instructions

  1. 1Place all the ingredients in a blender, then add ice to the 3 1/2 cup mark. Blend on high speed until smooth and frothy, about 1 minute. Serve immediately.
