Crimean Cocktail

A light, crisp wine cocktail perfect for summer.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 ounces dry white wine
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
  • 1 ounce soda water
  • 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all of the ingredients except the ice in a tall glass or cocktail shaker. Pour into a rocks glass filled with ice.

    Superb! I really didn't know what to expect when I made this, as I am virtually certain I have never used wine as a base for a mixed drink before. Very tart, and I loved it. I would say if you like margarita-type flavors, you will be pleased. Really refreshing.
