Makes:
1 s'more
These are delicious homemade s’mores developed by Charles Chocolates. The marshmallows will make you rethink the whole marshmallow concept.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 graham cracker recipe
- 1 marshmallow recipe
- 1 (3-ounce) bar high-quality bittersweet chocolate (such as Scharffen Berger, E. Guittard, or Valrhona)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat broiler to high and place oven rack in middle level of oven. Top each graham cracker with a 3-inch square of bittersweet chocolate and one marshmallow.
- Place assembled s’mores on a baking sheet and place under the heated broiler (in the middle of the oven, not at the top, where they will burn quickly). Watch them very closely and remove once the marshmallow is well browned. Serve.
Its nice food art and I like this. It looks like delicious dessert. Thanks for the recipe. Its easy to make. I like to taste the combination of these three ingredients together.

chemchef: At Charles Chocolate, they make chocolate confections, but they do not make their own pure chocolate. In other words, he takes other company's chocolate (such as those listed above) and makes bonbons and chocolate bars filled with other things, like nuts and rice krispies.
um... if its a Charles Chocolates recipe, why doesn't it call for Charles Chocolate?
It certainly looks good and I'm sure it tastes good as well. But I always figured half the fun off the s'more experience was unwrapping the junk food with your friends and roasting the marshmallows on sticks. To each their own.
Last summer we invented what we called "Fancy French S'mores" by sticking a marshmallow roasted over the camp fire onto a LU Le Petit Ecolier cookie. Delicious!
This recipe looks amazing for use in the winter time, when we're longing for summers on the beach.
okay we Girl Scouts of yore--roast marshmallows on a long stick over a burning fire, add to a square of chocolate(we used Hershey's) atop a graham cracker-classicThank you Mrs. Rosenfeld for giving us the opportunity to make these and indulge-
Err. Where's the campfire, beer and what not? I claim heresay on this premise.
