Apple pie spice, a mixture of sweet spices made in many versions, is used to season apple pie and other apple-based desserts, such as dumplings and cobblers.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup ground cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons ground allspice
- 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons ground mace
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine 1/4 cup ground cinnamon, 4 teaspoons ground allspice, 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg, 2 teaspoons ground mace, and 1 teaspoon ground cloves.
