The Vodka Martini, Stalini, or Vodkatini is the vodka-based version of the Martini.
3 ounces vodka
Green olives or twist of lemon peel
Depending on your taste, mix 5 to 8 parts vodka to 1 part vermouth for a dry Martini, but diminish the vermouth to taste for a drier Martini. Stir in a pitcher half filled with ice, or shake with ice; then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with green olives or lemon peel.
French Martini: Substitute Chambord for the vermouth, and add 1 ounce pineapple juice.
Rumtini: Substitute light rum for the vodka, and garnish with a twist of lime peel.
Tequini: Substitute tequila for the vodka, and garnish with a twist of lime peel.
