Field Guide to Cocktails
A variation on the traditional Sidecar that adds rum.
- Sugar for rimming
- 3/4 ounce brandy
- 3/4 ounce light rum
- 3/4 ounce Cointreau or triple sec
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- Twist of lemon peel
- 1Rim a chilled cocktail glass with sugar. Shake the brandy, rum, Cointreau, and lemon juice with ice; then strain into the cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon peel.
