We tried it with Bourbon, Lillet Blanc, Sweet Vermouth, and a little orange liqueur and it was great!
Can't speak for the poster, but I would guess it would be the blanc. And I can imagine this is a tasty cocktail. Smoky, sharp Scotch with the addition of fruit and acidity. Would likely work with Bourbon as well.
That could depend on whether you are using Lillet Blonde or Lillet Rouge. Which is it???
ewwwww!
sounds like less than the sum of its parts
