We may never know whether this nearly forgotten drink from the 1970s was named for the character Barbarella, but it is way out there.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1 ounce dry vermouth
- 1/2 ounce curaçao
- 1/2 ounce grenadine
INSTRUCTIONS
- Shake all ingredients well with ice; then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Dammit, I didn't want to like because of the sillines of the name, but I just stirred one up (with Buffalo Trace and orange curacao)...quite easy to drink.
