I desperately miss Harvey's Tavern's sausage pizza, and Gold Creek Pizza out of Cle Elum. Some of the best pizzas on different sides of the spectrum as I've found in this state.

Georgetown Liquor Company for great Vegetarian

I mentioned it briefly in another thread, but I really think it deserves a call out on its own. A recent addition to Georgetown's growing stable of restaurants is Georgetown Liquor Company, located near Stellar's Pizza and behind the old Industrial Coffee space.

It's got a somewhat incongruous collection of themes that ends up working really well together. Sort of a retro sci-fi theme in that "old space saloon" sort of way, with a rack of old console video games, a stacked bar, and AMAZING vegetarian food. I'm a huge bacon and meat kid, and if I get excited about all-vegetarian fare, I think it's a big deal.

The roasted root veggie platter is incredible, as are the Tamarind won-ton appetizers which I get every time I eat there. My wife's a fan of their enchiladas, while I tend to lean towards the cheese-based meals. The soups have always been great, and I've heard raves about their vegan chili, which I have not tried.

The crowd is always a fun mix of biker types, computer nerds, punk artists, and musicians, and rarely too rowdy or loud. Parking in front can be tough, but there's a lot on the other side of the train tracks - stay out of Stellar's lot or they'll get ya.

Best Burgers in Seattle

Norm's in Fremont has some of the best burgers in Seattle. It's located next door to Roxy's Deli and the Ballroom. They're open for lunch again, lots of great beer choices, and the burgers come in at under $10, though barely.
