Boar's Head

A bit far away but believe it or not the deli in the Amoco Station on Nursery Rd near BWI serves up pretty good Boars head fare for anyone up that way. In Baltimore Rosina Gourmet (2 locations) does as well.

Maryland / Baltimore- what are your favorite differences?

I remember a line in the City Paper years ago where an out of towner asked a local diner waitress about scrapple and her reply was something like "I don't know if ya want that hon, it's the whole pig"

BTW always loved it!

Baltimore Eats- Memorial Day Weekend

Hope you enjoy your visit to LAX crazy Baltimore.
You can take cab or Water Taxi to Canton Walk two blocks north from Water Taxi stop to "The Square"....(Avoid Bay Cafe!)

Looneys- Sports/Irish pub ...Pub Grub thats reliably tasty
Granite- good bar food as well and more updated look than Looneys
Claddagh- Irish Pub with a big menu
Mama's on the Half Shell- Good old school style Seafood/Excellent brunch too
Helen's Garden- Kinda foofy menu but food is good
Vaccarro's has an outlet here to on the square for desert

Also I would concur on Matthew's pizza...great pies of a very unique nature in a dining space time warped from 1958 or so.
