I've got the privilege of planning my company's launch party at a swanky Washington, D.C. restaurant. I'm looking for a great private room (or restaurant buyout) for ~40 people. I've got a very large budget so basically everything is on the table, but I want it to have a combination of excellent food (Michelin star type place) and a hip vibe.

Any suggestions are welcomed! Really appreciate the help.

I'm hoping that it's a pleasant place to sit and eat but very reasonable. I tried to get a reservation at Da Andrea which is exactly what i was looking for, but they dont have anything for four people besides at 6 pm.

Depending on what you order, Rachel's on 9th btwn 43-44th is good. I like the burgers and mac and cheese.

I'm looking for a good place for brunch for 6-7 people on the upper west side that takes reservations for Mother's Day. I love sarabeths, isabellas, nice matin, but none take reservations. Any suggetions? Any places that take reservations for parties of that size that don't for smaller groups?
