I am throwing an event in the Chicago area on June 10th. The Chicago Sausage Experiment! I am looking to get the local Chicago Food & Beer community fired up for the event. My goal is to create a community of fun foodies, where you leave the event with more friends than you had that morning.
In addition, we fly the Grand Prize winner to Brooklyn to compete in the National Championship. Plus, we have prizes from Le Creuset, Anolon, Wusthof, etc

I can reply with absolute authority. I recently went to LB (Dec 29th) with my PREGNANT wife for our birthday. We ordered the tasting menu and they had no problem making changes in the menu to accommodate her fear of raw seafood. This was great news as I got to try three more dishes that weren't on the menu. They pick the dishes, but they were great dishes. The great advantage to you is that you get to drink the entire bottle of wine minus one glass for the pregnant wife.

Tour D'Argent Cake Recipe
Hello, I am looking for a specific recipe and I haven't been able to find it. I am trying to make a cake for my brother's birthday. He talks lovingly of a chocolate cake he had at Tour d' Argent three years ago. He says it was the best cake he'd ever eaten. He told me that it had several textures, which was crucial to the flavor.
