Visiting Sout Hampton and East Hampton for the first time later this summer. Need reco's Would love your recommendation's for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Casual during the day, fancier eats at night. Intend to have dinner 1 night in South Hampton and 1 in East Hampton if the drive from South Hampton on a week day is do-able for dinner and back to our B& B in South Hampton. And also one lunch spot in East Hampton. |

Montreal foodies need reco's for lunch & diner Hi Captain, We will be there for 3 days and 3 nights and we will be staying in Midtown but are willing to move around for good food. In terms of cuisine, american, italian, french, middle east, japanese would work. |

Montreal foodies need reco's for lunch & diner We will be in Manhattan mid june with our 2 daughters (12 and 9 years old). We need recommandations for lunches and dinners. Please keep in mind the kids, therefore no Le Cirque or Daniel or Per se, but we do fancy great food and great atmosphere. |

Where do you go on a weekday when you're too tired to cook (eat in/takeout)? Go to Reservoir on Duluth for lunch or dinner. Great inexpensive food. |

Anyone tried the new La brasserie Brunoise? Thanks Chowhounders for your replies. I will give the restaurant a try with all your advices in mind. |

Anyone tried the new La brasserie Brunoise? Has anyone been to the newly opened La brasserie Brunoise (same chef as Brunoise on St-Andre) at their new downtown location on De la Montagne? If so, please comment. |

Thanks for this advice, i did decide not to go to Cru and will instead eat at Hearth on my second night. Since i am not going for the wine list, but the quality of the food and ambiance of the restaurant, i gather i am better off somewhere else. |

Boston hounder coming to Montreal I would definitely add La montee de lait on Villeneuve street in Plateau as a MUST. It is amazing, very french (you feel like you are in a quaint residential neighborhood in Paris!) and a great culinaryy experience. Reservation required it is a small restaurant. I would definitely do lunch or brunch at Reservoir, very good and so cheap, but not the greatest atmosphere. |

Best steaks in Montreal??????? Check out Joe Beef, it is the rave right now. Have not been myself, but heard good things. If not queue de Cheval would be up there for steak. |

Love Laloux. Been since the new chef is in place and was not dissapointed. Service is great as usual. |

I agree with Carswell, Cafe Fereirra on Peel would be my no1 reco. If not, you could also do Garcon on Sherbrooke, corner of Peel, but i don't know about the time constraint. Or if you want a terrace, Il Cortile on Sherbrooke (near museum) is great and very european like. L'Express is way too loud for this event and Holder, i'm not a fan. Lemeac on Laurier is also a nice option, but out of your way if you want to save time and eat close by. Good luck |

Thannk you for this advice, i will go ahead and try with Hearth instead.. |

I am visiting NYC in the next couple of weeks and have made a reservation at EMP, thanks to your multiple recommendations. I am now looking for a different dinner out for our second night. Do you recommend CRU? If not, please give me your suggestions. |

Boston's best for lunch & dinner (Kid friendly) Hello, My family and I will be spending a day in Boston. We are looking for a great lunch and dinner spot. Preferably with seafood on the menu for dinner, but not Legal seafood, been there done that. Any recommendations with nice atmosphere? |

My husband and i will be going to NYC mid june for 2 nights and i am debating which restaurant to go to for dinner. I am hesitationg between Eleven Madison Park, CRU and Lupa. For lunch, i will most likely eat alone since my husband will be in meetings, where do you recommend i go to sit at the bar in Midtown area. |
